Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn started acrobatics at All That Jazz Dance Studio when she was 11 years old, under the direction of Fiona Scott. In the following years she began Jazz, Tap and Ballet, as well as CSTD examinations and competition work. After completing high school, Kaitlyn attained both her Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts (Major in Dance) at Principal Academy of Dance and Theatre Arts, where she studied the ISTD Syllabus.In 2016, at the age of 19, she began auditioning for a variety of cruise lines, and shortly after, she accepted a 9-month contract onboard the Carnival Victory as a Production Dancer. Kaitlyn was lucky enough to cruise to many islands and cities in America, Mexico and the Bahamas to name a few. Kaitlyn continued her career with Carnival Cruise Line completing contracts in the roles of Producation Dancer and most recently Dancer/Singer, onboard the Carnival Triumph, Carnival Fantasy, and Carnival Dream. She has performed shows of all genres including showgirl/vegas, intense rock, magic shows and everything in between.Kaitlyn continues to train in all dance styles, as well as a variety of aerial circus apparatuses. She always aims to grow her own knowledge and stay current with the industry. Whilst home between contracts, she is grateful to be able to pass on her knowledge and passion, as she teaches the up-and-coming generation of dancers. Kaitlyn has held numerous Q&A sessions, to share her experiences and understanding of the profession. She loves teaching students who love to dance for fun, as well as those who also hope for a career in the industry. Kaitlyn also holds a Certificate IV in Education Support and is looking forward to coming back to the ATJ family, where she first started dancing herself.
